General Event Questions

What is the Winter Beauty Expo?

The Winter Beauty Expo is an annual fantasy hair competition and beauty showcase featuring talented stylists,

models, fashion designers, and live entertainment. Our 2nd annual event brings together beauty professionals,

students, and enthusiasts for a day of creativity, competition, and networking in a winter wonderland atmosphere.

When and where is the event?

The Winter Beauty Expo 2026 takes place on November 7th, 2026, at the Columbia County Exhibition located at 212 Partnership Drive Grovetown, Georgia.  The

show begins at 2pm. 

Is this event open to the public?

Yes! The Winter Beauty Expo is open to everyone — beauty professionals, students, and anyone who loves hair

artistry and creative expression.

Is this a family-friendly event?

Yes! Families are welcome. Children ages 2-10 have discounted admission, and infants enter free. All children must

be accompanied by an adult. The event includes a bar area for adults 21+ with valid ID.

Tickets & Admission

How much are tickets?

• Early Bird (Limited): $15-55 — Available until July 13th

• General Admission: $45

• Student Admission: $35 (valid student ID required)

• Children (ages 2-10): $25

• Infants (under 2): FREE

• VIP Experience: $75 — Stage-side seating, 2 drinks, and a meal

Where can I purchase tickets?

Tickets are available at www.howslayed.com/tickets. We recommend purchasing in advance to guarantee your spot!

Are tickets refundable?

Tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person. Contact us at Howslayed@gmail.com to arrange a transfer.

What does VIP include?

VIP Experience includes premium stage-side seating, 2 complimentary drinks (alcoholic beverages require valid ID), a

meal from our food vendors, and expedited check-in.

How do I register to compete?

Visit www.howslayed.com and click Competitors Click Here to complete the registration form. Registration deadline

is July 31, 2026.

What are the competition categories?

• Frozen Fantasy — Avant-garde sculptural designs inspired by ice and snow

• Winter Elegance — Formal updo styles with winter elements

• Aurora Borealis Color — Fantasy color in blues, purples, greens, iridescent

• Natural Ice Queen — Natural hair textures with winter styling

• Snowfall Bridal — Winter bridal looks

• Rising Star — Student and first-time competitor category

Do I need to bring my own model?

Yes, competitors bring their own model. Model must register through Model Link on home page of www.howslayed.com or contact

us for assistance.

What do winners receive?

Each category awards 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies. The Best in Show winner receives a special trophy and cash prizes.

Winners are featured on our social media and website!

Venue  Logistics

Is there parking available?

Parking is free.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes, our venue is ADA accessible. Contact us in advance if you have specific accessibility needs.

Will there be food and drinks?

Yes! Food vendors will be on-site. A bar is available for guests 21+ with valid ID. VIP tickets include drinks and a

meal.

What should I wear?

This is a fashion-forward event — dress to impress! Many guests embrace the winter wonderland theme. There no

strict dress code.

Can I be an exhibitor/vendor?

Yes! Exhibitor tables are $150 and include a table, 2 chairs, and permission to sell on-site. Visit
